Our priority is to develop an effective policy of health protection for our staff, based on risk prevention in the workplace.

We have a Prevention Service that acts for the safety of employees at any level, making them understand and accept such actions.

Actually, UC10 presents two lines of action: the Master Plan for the Prevention in headquarters and the Worker Risk Prevention Plan independently for each work, accordingly to the Royal Decree 1627/97 of October 24.

ISO 9001:2008

UC10 has been granted the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification applied to project, execution, conservation and maintenance of public and private works, civil engineering and construction works.

ISO 9001 is an international standard applied to quality management systems. It presents a clear structure to design and improve any management system. It is one of the most important and the most used in the world.

ISO 14001:2004

As part of our sustainable policy, we also have ISO 14001:2004 certification for the environmental management model.

This very demanding standard, among other things, sets all procedures to identify environmental aspects, any significant impact on the environment and all relevant documentation.

One of the most important conditions of this standard is the identification of environmental aspects associated with activities, products and services of the company with information that is regularly updated. The following definitions are of primary importance:

  • The environmental impact: it concern any change to the environment, whether adverse or beneficial, wholly or partially resulting from an organization’s activities, products or services.
  • The environmental aspect: is an element of an organization’s activities, products or services that can interact with the environment

All certification are carried out by SGS, a leader for conformity assessment and certification services, with presence in more than 140 countries, among them Peru and Morocco.
