BUDGET: 1.517.588,01 €.
DESCRIPTION: The project to connect the supply system of La Mojonera with the desalinated water network of Acuamed includes the following actions: First, the connection to the Acuamed pipeline will be carried out by installing a regulation line that will have valves, filters and flow meters to control the water flow. A 648-meter-long ductile iron pipeline will be laid to transport the water from the Acuamed intake to a new header tank, with a capacity to store 5,000 m³ of desalinated water, which will enable the municipal system to be supplied with water by gravity. Also contemplated is the construction of an upstream distribution network, which will connect the headwater reservoir with the existing reservoirs of Las Cuadras and El Viso. The purpose of these works is to guarantee a continuous and safe supply of desalinated water for La Mojonera, reinforcing the municipality’s capacity to cope with increased demand and possible failures in other water sources.
